An individual approach to wellbeing

EFT · Emotional Freedom Techniques

Gentle tapping. Space for your feelings.

What is it?

EFT, often called tapping, combines fingertip tapping on specific points of the face and upper body with attention to a feeling, thought or concern. It can be practised with guidance and, once learned, used as a personal coping technique.

What can it help you explore?

People may choose this approach for the following reasons. These are goals for support, rather than promises of a particular result.

  • Managing feelings of everyday stress and overwhelm.

  • Exploring nerves around exams, studying or performance.

  • Working with self-critical thoughts and emotional responses to life changes.

What happens in a session?

We identify a concern you feel comfortable discussing, notice its emotional intensity and work through a guided tapping sequence. We pause and check how you feel. You choose what to share, and we work at your pace.

Practical support, tailored to you

EFT combines gentle tapping with focused attention to thoughts and feelings. It can help reduce anxiety and make challenging situations feel more manageable — whether that involves fears, study pressures or worries around sleep.

I have used EFT with my own children to support them with reading-related anxiety. For someone with dyslexia, easing that anxiety can make reading feel less stressful.

Drawing on my clinical experience and EFT training, I tailor each session to you. We work at your pace, exploring what feels difficult and developing a practical technique you can also use in everyday life.

Which approach fits you?

Let’s start with your story.

You do not need to know which technique to choose before we speak. We can discuss your concerns, your preferences and whether this approach is suitable for you.
